About SelfKit

SelfKit makes small, focused tools for everyday media tasks that run entirely in your browser.

Sending a video should not require uploading it to a stranger’s server, creating an account or accepting a watermark. Modern browsers are powerful enough to do the work on your own device — so that is where we do it.

We start with video compression and will add more tools that follow the same rules: private, fast and free to use.
